  • Located in the CBC building food court (or Simcoe Place Food court depending on how geographically gifted you are). Is this the most un-nutritious place in the food court? Yes. Is it the most recognizable? Its tied with Tim Hortons (if you are canadian) and just ahead of Manchu Wok (the ubiquitous food court Chinese food). Service: Standard. Fairly quick. Fairly friendly. Fairly Accurate. Food: Fairly hot. Standard McCrappy fare. Last time i checked there were no Milkshakes available -1 Why am I reviewing a location for a restaurant that almost everyone has eaten at? Because it is the place that I first experienced a new discovery called the "McGangbang". Yes that is a "real thing" http://www.eatmedaily.com/2009/03/the-mcgangbang-a-mcchicken-sandwich-inside-a-double-cheeseburger/ In summary the McGangbang is the most prolific item at McDonald's for 2.92 (taxes included). You take a junior chicken (that's the Canadian equivalent of the american McChicken) and slam in in between the patties of a McDouble (that's a double cheeseburger with only one slice of cheese). So its taking two items off the $1.39 value menu and creating a super sandwich, the McGangbang!!! I was expecting to be satisfied with the novelty of the sandwich, but i was VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality of the resulting mega-sandwich. Will return. Oh and yes, one of us did ask for the sandwich by name. No, they didn't know what we were talking about, and no they wouldn't make the sandwich for us, we (4 of us) had to self assemble our 4 sandwiches -1.
