  • If you want first-rate Italian food, you can't go wrong by choosing Fiamma. I've only dined here a few times (this is a cumulative review), but I can say that this has become one of my top 5 Italian restaurants in Charlotte (and that's saying a lot, given there are a ton of Italian restaurants). The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is that I found their service a bit inconsistent. On one of my visits here, I remember just standing in the entryway for a good 5 minutes before the Hostess even bothered to come say "Hi" and lead us to a table...and she never even bothered to apologize for our wait! The waiters seem well trained and courteous on the most part, but I remember having to wait a long time for a waiter to come to our table to to refill my Tea. So from my experience, the service seemed very nonchalant. Overall, I still have to give it high marks because of the quality food.
