This is an extremely difficult hike. That said, I saw grade school children making it to the top.
It is a full body work out with several steep rock areas.
I made sure to go on an overcast day. I read reviews prior to my hike- "bring lots of water". So I brought 40oz. I should have brought 80+!
Now I can understand how out of town visitors could need rescuing from this trail.
Tip-take several snacks. I thought one PB and J would be fine, but it barely got me to the top. Oh how I would have loved to have some trail mix on the descent
