  • I've become a recent fan of this place. I got sick of the long lines at Chatime and decided to give Bubble Tease a try. First, the shop is a much nicer place to chill and hang out with friends over a cup of bubble tea. It's open, nicely lit and has some seats. Every day, they have a bubble tea on discount. On Tuesdays, they have a special drink where you can name your price (50 cents, $1 etc) and the proceeds go to some charity or something (I can't remember the name). I tried it and it was not good - the tea was tasteless. I thought they forgot to add sugar and when I asked, they said it's like that and it's pre-packaged. Lesson learnt, I have now stuck to their regular offerings instead of their "special drink". I have only tried the Golden Assam tea with pearls. It's similar to Milk tea but maybe a little stronger an less milky. They do not stinge on the pearls either. On Tuesdays, the Golden Assam tea is about 50% off. It came up to about $3 something which is a huge bargain! Bottom line - if you like bubble tea, give this place a try.
