Exceptional - start to finish. We arrived early to take in the orchestra symphonique de lisle at Concordia at Oscar Peterson Hall. So being famished we looked to Yelp to provide local dining options. Georges Souvlaki happened to be right across the road. Georges is unassuming however upon entering we were immediately welcomed and seated by a very friendly young lady. The menus are entirely in French however the i tired of each item made it easy to understand the offerings. Time to order was under five minutes and the wine choices though limited were nicely paired and very reasonable. We selected lamb skewer and lamb chops both which came nicely spiced with fried potatoes, salad, Pita with tziki sauce. All of which was delivered to our table by the Chef and Owner - George who was pleased to tell us that all the menu items were home made and prepared on site. The entire meal was scrumptious and excellent. For desert we enjoyed baklava which was generous and flavorful. The coffee was strong but not bitter. For two the entire meal with a half liter of house red was $65.00 which I dream a real bargain. We will certainly eat at George's again when in the area.
