rev:text	I have mixed emotions about this review and the show. On the one hand it was a small and somewhat dated performance. It's got to be tough to be a Vegas show these days. On the other hand, there was no denying the passion that Rick Thomas has for his show, and for his animals (tigers, birds and a cat). We came to this show based on what was available at TIX 4 TONIGHT. It was one of the less expensive shows, but it sounded like fun. We also upgraded our tickets to VIP seating, which included "The Ultimate Tiger Encounter", which is a slightly deceptive name, but nevertheless a worthwhile upgrade. The show was very entertaining. Twice throughout the show Rick brought up children (once a boy, once a girl) from the audience. The children, and how Rick worked with them, were show highlights. Another time an adult couple was brought froward to be part of the show. This did not seem quite as spontaneous (was there some coaching?), but was entertaining all the same. As would be expected, the volunteers came from the front, and that ticket upgrade will get you close to the front if you want a shot at this. At the end of the show Rick welcomes all VIP ticket holders on stage for a photo opportunity, with your camera. An assistant is there to snap the picture. This added a very personal element to the show. Bottom line is we have no regrets about this bargain show. If our presence helps Rick in his efforts to help tigers,and other animals, then I am very happy we picked this show. Good luck Rick! PS.
