Can't believe it's taken my husband and me so long to try this place. I'll admit that the name had me thinking it was traditional bar food with more pork than chicken or beef. Boy were we wrong, and pleasantly surprised. It's truly fabulous! The atmosphere is casual and easy going, but the food is sophisticated and delicious, and the price is seriously reasonable for the quality. I had the pork shank and my husband had the skirt steak. The flavors were savory and delicious, and beautifully combined with the sides on each entree. Mine was so large, I took 1/2 of it home. But I'm getting ahead of myself... you must try the fried brussel sprouts appetizer with a fried egg on top... amazing! And we had to have the bacon bourbon bread pudding for dessert... makes my mouth water thinking about it. My only complaint is that they don't have decaf coffee... I mean who doesn't serve decaf?? I hope the management fixes this glitch so that the dining experience is perfect. And ask for Lotti as your server... she's wonderfully helpful and attentive without hovering. Enjoy!
