I specifically checked into the Residence Inn Tempe because they had an airport shuttle. It only runs until 9:30 at night and I specifically asked when I checked in as long as I called before 9:30 if they would come get me they said yes. When I called at 9:15 they said they were going to send somebody to pick me up when I got curbside there was no one there when I called to see if they were going to circle around and pick me up I was told the shuttle driver was already back at the hotel and they only offered this service until 9:30 p.m. The next day when I addressed it with the front desk I asked how long did it take to get from the hotel to the airport and was told 15 minutes? I find it hard to believe that the shuttle driver could have driven to the airport waited for me and returned back to the Residence Inn by 9:29 to call me and tell me they were unable to pick me up because when they waited to pick me up the police had told them that they could not stay there. I was also offended by the fact that they said they could not circle around and pick me up because they would incur an additional charge? I incurred additional charges because I had to Uber to the hotel? Didn't seem like that bothered them much? I was scheduled to stay there for another 30 days and I immediately checked out the next day. I would have given them one star but only for the fact that I talked to Greg the customer service manager at the hotel who was very sympathetic and was told he would follow up with the employees and make sure that this issue would be addressed.
