This was once my primary nail salon. I went for waxing and nail services. Two years ago, the Pedi chairs started showing significant neglect. One of them even had the rollers poking through a hole in the fabric. So I stopped getting pedicures there and went for nails only. I had been a regular and knew most of the techs so I was loyal.
One day, I walked in to find a few people in pedi chairs and no customers for nails. I was told to take a seat at a specific table. I looked around and saw only two techs working and four techs chatting or on the Internet. I sat at the table, which was dirty with old clippings and a soiled paper towel, and waited for someone to sit across from me. After 15 minutes one of the two working techs got up from the pedi chair and grabbed my hand to start clipping my nails over the dirty residue from the last client. I pulled my hand back and told her this was gross. I looked around and none of the other techs were paying attention. So I walked out and didn't return until today
.
Today I entered at 4pm. They replaced the chairs at one point so I chose a pedicure. A girl told me to sit and someone filled the foot bath for me. Ten minutes later a random tech came by and turned on the bubbles. By twenty minutes in when no one had addressed me to tell me how long the wait is, or to acknowledge the time I had already waited, I had had enough. It was 79 degrees out and the door was closed making it stink to high heaven in there. It was intolerable and I couldn't justify spending more time or money for the poor treatment. I walked out again. So now I am done with this salon permanently. When you care, it shows. When you don't, it shows.
