| rev:text | Located in the Old Port of Montreal, this place serves different kinds of food for either lunch or breakfast. When entering the store, you will see a various selection of pre-made meals, which is perfect for lunch. Browsing a little bit, most of the plates were hovering around 10$, which includes different salads and sandwiches. However, I was not there for that. I went there for their breakfast.
On a weekday morning, the place was relatively not so crowded. I was seated right away. The decor of the restaurant itself was pleasant. Service also was very good. Now to the real talk, the food itself. I decided to go for the "Canton" breakfast, which consist of a pan with eggs, beans, potatoes, bacon and ham. That came out to be 16$ before taxes. The portion itself was fair, but would've appreciated more for the price. As for the food quality itself, I cannot say that there was anything special. The eggs were average, the ham itself was a little burnt.
Overall, I do not think I would come back as it is a little expensive for what it offers. Great service otherwise! |
