I have to say that they did not do an install for me so I cannot speak about workmanship. BUT I can speak about customer interaction and how it went for me. I called the main number and talked to the operator, she was great, I explained to her what I needed and she did her job getting "there no 1 installer " out to my home to take a look for a bid.
This is where the wheels fall off for this company. Their lead installer guy shows up walks in and starts telling me what I need to do, granted he probably has to deal with some people who have no idea of what it takes to do this type of install. My issue is this, I explained to the office person that part of the install is that I need a hole punched in the roof for a vent to be installed. This is why they sent "their best guy" out to take a look. What I I get is a guy who tells me that "I'm narrow minded and dont understand the process of what it takes". There's no way they will do with work without having HVAC punch a hole in my roof. Then they will come and install... So I get charged twice.. No thanks..
I have to say this, I have done my fair share of installs and construction and to be totally honest I just don't want to do this so that's why I called someone else. The lead guy shows me pics of an install that he did where they had removed (what it looks like in the photo) a 5ft square of drywall around the vent from the ceiling to get the supports for the hood frame installed between the joists. I told him there is no way were going to do that much dissection of my ceiling because it's not needed. He then tells me that they are not interested in helping. What a total waste of time. I expected better.....
