| - We had an electrical issue of a dead battery which led me to replace the battery and alternator from AutoZone. Once replaced, it was discovered I had not only a parasitic drain where 2 electrical components were inoperable and the new alternator was bad as well. I tracked one to the general area of the AC but that is as far as I could go. I had a mechanic look at it and he recommended I find someone who specializes in the electrical systems as he explained it can take hours and hours to find out where the draw is, and could even run into an entire day without the right testing tools. I appreciated his honesty. I spoke to Ryan and Sean at Greulich's auto to give them a heads up on what I found so far, they mentioned they should have a remedy in an hour maybe two but will work with me stating they have the testing tools which ended up saving me money in labor, (the tech had it figured out in an hour- ac relay for the compressor and a fuse panel with an integrated relay which I would have never found under the dash inside the car).
I decided to take the vehicle in as it was beyond my scope of comfort. They found the draws and repaired them, replaced the alternator from AutoZone with another one from AutoZone then when they test drove it, the alternator malfunctioned and had to be replaced. Having one car, Sean was very accommodating to run across the street (which AutoZone would not deliver it, and I could not get out of work).
Sean called me about an hour later and had the car fixed, working and tested. I am very happy with Greulich's and the high level of customer service. We actually decided to use them solely as they stand behind their work and once again are very accommodating. He was very professional every time we spoke and updated us throughout the process as we needed a wiring harness and fuse box replaced as well as parts on the AC unit.
In the end, AutoZone warrantied the parts, Gruelich's delivered and we are very happy new customers!
