  • I had a very disappointing experience with Scottsdale Plumbing Company. I contacted them to get a quote for plumbing work that needed to be done on a house that my wife and I are purchasing. The plumber came out as scheduled, evaluated the items that needed to be fixed and promised to get me the quote by the end of the week. He was very pleasant and I felt good about getting the quote on time so that it could be submitted with our counter offer by the deadline. I verified that this would be able to be done on time when I called, and I confirmed this with the plumber at the time of the inspection. Fast forward to the end of the week (the day before our counter offer was due), and I still had not received the quote. Keep in mind that this was only a couple items and not some huge commercial project.... I called that morning and spoke with someone at the office and reiterated that our counter offer was due the next day and that I had still not received the quote. I was reassured that I would have it by the end of the day. As the end of the day approached, I still did not have anything, so I called again and was told that they would contact the plumber immediately and get right back to me. Nothing. The next time I called they were gone for the weekend and I was transferred to an "after hours" hotline. Needless to say I never received the quote and had to submit our counter offer without a quote on the plumbing work that needs to be done. I had a roofer, structural engineer, electrician, and flooring company all perform the same task that was promised by Scottsdale Plumbing Company, and the only one to not deliver was SPC. I definitely would not recommend using their services!
