| - I really, really *want* to love this local brewery. The service is good, the outside tables are nice, but the beer and food are just okay. I can never say that I dislike the food, but I'm just never impressed, even when they have a new special that sounds like it's going to be amazing.
If the beers were impressive enough to make up for it, that'd be one thing, but I've also never had a beer that really wowed me. Selections are boring versions of standards (Yes, you have a lager; yes you have a wheat beer, and a porter. But are they *good* or do they have anything special? Meh). It also gets annoyingly noisy and crowded most evenings.
In summary: your "basic" friends will ask you to go here, and it will be fine, but overall, San Tan suffers from a lack of originality.
