I really hate leaving this kind of review but it needs to be said. My daughter and I have been coming to Plato's since she was old enough to pick out her clothes. The centennial location was out main spot. We traded and bought school clothes, fun clothes, vacation clothes. It was girl time.
We went to the new location a couple days ago. The space is bigger but that's where the improvements stops. My daughter had a bunch of items to trade as did her boyfriend. We shop while they pick, and we're used them not wanting the majority of our items. No ish. It goes to Goodwill.
The girl sorting choose 2 items and gave my daughter her ticket. But she neglected to include a pair of tennis shoes. When my daughter asked her where her shoes were and why she wasn't getting paid for them and then pointed to them behind the counter, the girl said they must be someone else's, as if my child doesn't know her own shoes. The girl had quite the attitude, but it was written all over her face she was caught in a lie.
The manager was called over and gave my child back her shoes.
Unfortunately, if you trade or buy here, you're going to have to watch every transaction. You'd be better off going to Deseret off Craig. We will not be returning. What a bummer.
