Forget about the drinks and food, the main attraction to this place is the building itself. As soon as I realized that this place was only a 5 minute walk from my hotel, I knew that I had to stop by before going back to Toronto.
The Café is located a block away from Notre-Dame Basilica.
As others have stated, this place used to be a bank and as soon as you walk in through the revolving doors, you are immediately struck by the high ceilings and the decor. Thankfully when I was there this morning, there wasn't a lot of people inside so seating wasn't a problem. It might had to do with the fact that Montreal was under an extreme cold alert and even a 5 minute walk was tough.
The rating should be closer to 4 1/2* with 4* for the decor/building and 1/2* for the caramel latte. The price of the latte was high but it might have to do with the location of this Café.
