  • I really don't understand why most of the five star reviews have been filtered out. This place really deserves better reviews. I went here last month with four of my closest friends after we decided that we wanted to try yoga for the first time. I found this place on Google and decided to give it a try because of its location near us all (Cotswold Shopping Center and across from Salsarita's). Originally, we tried to do the Vinyasa Basics class, but it was cancelled (this was around Thanksgiving). We did the Power Mixed class instead. Being new to this, we stumbled in 30 minutes early and paid our $7.50 student price. We went into a small studio and spread our mats out. Towels were given to us for free. There was a woman (random customer, not employee) who confronted my friends and starting talking about how this class was way too hard for us and we probably wouldn't be able to complete it. Ha, challenge accepted. What is wrong with people these days? So many people showed up to this class that they opened up the wall and doubled the studio size. Mats were super close to each other and it was a tad bit crowded (they're about to grow their space to help this problem). The lights were turned down and the heater was cranked up and peaceful music began. Melissa was our leader for this and she did a super great job. I didn't feel like an incompetent loser when I didn't know what she was talking about. There were beginners and experts in this class, a really good mix overall. Though some of it was really hard (and so, so, so hot), I felt like I got a lot out of this experience. I didn't find this place to be smelly (except for my nasty, sweaty, teenage self) and I thought it was quite clean. At the end, lavender towels were passed out and we all just sat there for a while. This was really peaceful after an hour of hard work. I got good vibes from this place. Thanks to all of the employees who didn't laugh at us when we called and asked questions about classes. It's nice to be respected as a customer. I will definitely be coming back.
