  • Family of 5 and yes we did stay at a different property but I told my kids it was a MUST DO, to visit Circus Circus and see the sights there. Wow was I wrong. My memory failed me from days of long ago. We got there later in the night and of course the adventure dome was closed so we couldn't even walk around there. No circus acts, just a "hand balancer". We were at a gymnastics meet, they all can do that. No disrespect to him, we just wanted more. Went to the buffet, worst ever and we live near an Old Country Buffet. The 'create your own pasta' had just sauce and noodles. Too much to ask for some odds and ends to toss in there? Mushrooms, shrimp, chicken.....anything. Tried to find some of those elsewhere to toss in at our table but nothing but cold mushrooms from salad bar was to be found. Walked with kids to the arcade and we were all excited to see those frustrating games with all the quarters piled up and you shoot one in to try to get them to all fall down? Well imagine our surprise when they fall down you don't get them, you get tickets. Great, just what we wanted. Some overpriced candy to not eat. We had the whole next day to check things out again there when it was opened but we all decided it just wasn't worth it. My ONLY positive was the milk a the buffet was cold. Dang cold and delish.
