  • Buy an oil change get a oil leak free! I had been to other jiffy lives before and was satisfied with the service. This location at Durango seemed like all the rest and I was in the area and needed an oil change. They performed what I thought was all the services and was given a bill way higher than expected. I was told my vehicle only took synthetic and that was the price. I would have been ok had I been told up front. I traveled out of town for a week and when getting back I noticed a puddle of oil under the car. I took it back to the same location and they told me the drain plug was loose and they had tightened it back up. The next day after cleaning my garage floor I noticed more oil. I took the car back to the same location again and let the. Know it was still leaking. The "on duty" manager ( apparently the official manager was at lunch 10:00am) told me I had a leaking oil pan gasket and I would need to replace the oil pan gasket. I explained, there was no way the car had a oil pan gasket leak as it was just inspected by Volkswagen the week before and it had never had a leak until my fantastic oil change. He then went back and told me "oh yes it's not the oil pan gasket, but they can leak sometime. it was the gasket on the drain plug and they couldn't replace the gasket as it was connected to the drain plug and I WOULD NEED TI GO SOMEWHERE ELSE TO BUY IT. Absolutely disappointed in not only the service work, but the unprofessional handling of the situation.
