| - Overall I was very disappointed.
- I was thorough with how I wanted the tattoo and asked for a watercolour effect. I physically showed Zin the painting that I wanted the tattoo based on and told him how I wanted it drawn. There was no hesitation when he said yes.
- The artwork he sent (it was late and I had to push my appointment) was a joke. He photoshopped the artwork by cutting the head of the tiger of the painting I provided onto a totally different body of another tiger photo. The explanation was, that's what Zin thought I wanted, when I very thorough in email and in-person about what I wanted. The artwork wasn't even drawn out. This shows laziness.
- After I explained again what I wanted, the second artwork piece that was done was not even close to the painting.
- Another tattoo artist attempted the artwork, but for the third time it wasn't close to what I wanted. I explained multiply times I wanted a watercolour effect, and when Zin wasn't getting it I asked to focus on the brush stroke work. It was not done in the same style. However I do appreciate a third attempt from another artist.
- When I picked my deposit up I asked why Zin said he could do the artwork when it wasn't drawn in a similar style. I was told it was too intricate, too detailed, and that the size I wanted is too small to show all the details. This was never told to me at any point beforehand.
- I respect Tattoo People for giving my full deposit back, (there are other tattoo places such as Chronic Ink that will not give you your deposit back even when their tattoo artist says they can draw your design and does something completely different. This happened to me.) but I had to physically go out of my way to pick it up when it was their fault I was getting my money back. I asked for an e-transfer or check but they said no.
- A positive is the staff there are polite, kind, give good customer service, and are prompt with getting back to customers.
