rev:text	These guys are giving cable companies a run for their money on most hated business. Never never never use them unless you have the patience of a saint! I took my Fender Stratocaster for a simple restring to Guitar Center 8949 East Indian Bend Road Scottsdale AZ on Monday 2/26/18. This is a job that should take a couple hours max for an experienced tech with the right tools. The tech I talked to said it would be the weekend based on work already committed and that he works on instruments in the order received. He is the only tech. While not thrilled I agreed and left my strat. On Tuesday 3/6/18 I called and asked about my guitar. The guy I talked to said the tech is off on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and I should call back on Thursday. Not happy, so I asked to talk with someone who could tell me when my guitar would be ready based on the work in front of it. He said he would get someone to answer my question and put me on hold. After 4 to 5 minutes, I hit my 3 song max with the "on hold" sound track and hung up. That afternoon I went to pick up my guitar. The guy behind the counter asked if Bill called me. I said no but I was leaving with my guitar finished or not. He goes into the back and comes out with my guitar, no surprise, untouched in terms of restring. He then offers to to do the work in 15 minutes if I could wait......really..... My guitar is currently at Guitar Gallery. I will pick it up in the morning only because I choose not wait on it. Guitar Center maybe OK for lessons, not sure no experience, but you would be wise to shop elsewhere for repairs or equipment.....
