Stayed here for memorial day weekend and this was decently priced compared to the other hotels. Given this was supposed to be completed, when we arrived, the hotel was still in construction outside for remodel cleansing it of the monte carlo remnants. The pictures during booking was quite promising with new everything. When we arrived, the pictures were almost representative of the real thing. A couple of downsides, no coffee maker was present and no refrigerator.
They seem to be going for the bare minimum hotel feel. The room presentation was quite simple and it was nice to have a couch by the window. Starbucks is clearly waiting for you the moment you leave the escalator. There is not much to do in the hotel besides the pool, but the location is convenient to go elsewhere with a tram to take you to Aria and Bellagio. Think eventually this place with be the hangout spot since the T mobile arena is literally right across the street from this hotel.
The annoying $37 daily resort fee includes:
high speed internet access--spotty connection
unlimited local and toll free calls--who exactly do I need to call if I have a cell phone
airline boarding pass printing--who is printing nowadays?
notary service-- never have I ever used this
fitness center-- um who works out in vegas!
The inconvenient pool hours are 8am-6pm. And you have to pay for parking. . .so I'm not sure how the daily resort fee amenities benefit anyone.
