| - I needed to finance a bike and had bad credit. I could not get financed from a larger dealership, so I came here.
I found a bike I was happy with and did the paperwork, put cash down , and finished the deal.
6 months had passed and I was proud of myself, because I was making all my payments on time , and most of them I even paid early. That's when I got a call from Eagle Rider. They were asking me to bring the bike back , because according to them I had not made any of my payments. Luckily for me I had used my debit card for all my payments, and had record of everything with my bank records.
Almost 6 months later I was refinancing through another bank , and needed my payoff statement. With my payoff statement , I could see that a payment was still missing. I had paid it but it was never applied to my account. I had to call everyday for about 10 days to get it straight. Finally not paying so much for the bike (5.5% vs eagle rider's 28% apr).
Now almost a full 12 months in , I still do not have a warranty , because of another mistake. I paid for 24 months of coverage. I just called the warranty company on a whim just to see if I actually had coverage. They have no record of me or my bike. I've been calling Eagle Rider for a week now and I still have not heard if the issue has been resolved.
On top of all that it took forever to get my plates. The battery needed to be replaced within a few days of buying the bike , and it was obvious the motorcycle had not been serviced in some time ( brake fluid was full of water , no engine oil , transmission oil was very old and dirty as was the primary fluid) , and the bike only had 14,000 miles when I bought it.
All in all it's cool having a motorcycle. Having to deal with all Eagle Riders bullshit easily offsets any enjoyment the bike may bring. Hopefully I'll get my warranty soon and won't have to do business with them anymore.
