  • Folks, Bogner Family Funeral in North Ridgeville home is Outstanding, as a Pastor and Preacher of the word of Gd one of my Duties is helping folks when a Loved one dies and what they need to do next, Most do not have a clue, who should I call 1st, 2nd...etc...well a Funeral Home can and should help you with all of that in a kind and caring manner. Remember, Funeral Homes are Business and must make a profit, well many have taken undue advantage because the loss of a loved one is hard enough, and we all want the best. well, some WILL SELL YOU the most expensive everything and if you are not careful..you can spend THOUSANDS over and above what you need to spend..."you want the best" is what many will say, so always take a friend or Relative who has a sound mind with you..or your Pastor. I have been, on a personal level with Bogner Funeral Home since 1982 when my Father passed away.... Harold Bogner and his wife Kathy took great care of my family, I was 17 years old then and my mom was left all alone to Raise us all...and she was the best mom ever.... the Job they did, even at 17 years old I knew they could have taken advantage of us..but the only thing on there mind was what was best....and they did and treated us with such dignity and care... Well, jump ahead to 2004 we suffered another loss, My Step-Dad..Jon Mcfarland passed away from Lung Cancer..well, we never gave another thought on who to call..Bogner. Now the son David has taken over the Family Business and has built a very nice Home just down the street from the 1st home..David Is a friend as we both Graduated around the same time from High School...i in 1984 and I believe he did in 85. well...once again they came to the rescue and was fantastic with Jon's Remains and my family... throughout the Years, I have done many sermons there as I am a Pastor and Preacher formerly with the Church of God of Prophecy...currently taking a sabbatical until 2016. But they treated each and every one of my Referals as they have done for me NEVER taking advantage... well, in 2008 my Mom Linda Lee McFarland Passed away at the Cancer Research Centers of America In Philly...again, all I did was placed a call to David Bogner and that was all i had to do..he arranged the embalming in Philly prior to getting her home in North Ridgeville Ohio..even her 1st class ticket back to Ohio... I have often wondered what the person next to her on the plain thought about a dead person next to him..lol..:) I could go on and on about how awesome these folks are..in fact, my friend and I met with David to make pre- arrangements....a thing everyon should do before you die, saves the family much grief...so, I am handing my death and my Wifes...along with Ralph, his wife and family.. friends...I was not asked or paid to make this review as i would never do that..so, for the best and most loving Funeral home in Lorain County ..all Ohio..call them...God Bless.
