Awful. I have been to plenty of Craft Beer festivals and this was the most poorly organized event I have ever attended. Advertised as "unlimited tastings and pizza". Nope. The "festival" began at 1pm. We were there at 1:45. No pizza. The beer tents were almost impossible to navigate. No signage. Everyone was packed into a 6 foot wide walkway while the entire field behind the tents were open as was the amphitheater. You could not tell where the lines were for the beer (or even if there were lines). Everyone was packed in like sardines. The lines to the food trucks were much too long. The actual "brewers" are not involved in this festival. The organizers "buy" kegs and then just offer pours. I left after about 20 minutes not having even 1 taster or any food. Quite honestly, if there were an emergency, I believe it would have impossible to control because of the number of people forced into such a small area.
ID's had to be shown, but they were not "checked". Bracelets were put on you without having to show a ticket. (you gave your ticket to a volunteer after, but there was no scanning or checking).
On the plus side, we did complain to one of the organizers and we were satisfied with her resolution to our complaint.
UPDATE: We have tried several times to get a refund, which we were told AT THE FESTIVAL before we left that would not be a problem. We were told "NO requests would be contested". The lady told us they had received many complaints. We immediately requested a refund when we got home and were denied. We continued communications and now the organizers will not return our emails. We are still working on this issue.
