  • If you're in Las Vegas for whatever reason and you want to get a piercing, run do not walk to Ironhorse Tattoos & Piercings. I read the reviews, did the research and knew this was the place to go for my nose piercing. Calling earlier today, I was given over to Scott (lead piercer) who put me at ease and made me laugh within seconds. I was definitely convinced I needed him to do this for me. Arriving at the shop, this pierced and tattooed giant of a man approached with the warmest smile on his face. Scott! Same wonderful personality and humor. We talked about my jewelry options, understanding what to expect during the piercing process, healing and aftercare. Even when I was checking boxes and signing my life away, Scott walked through the details again to make sure I was comfortable. He really made me feel like my satisfaction was important to him. He washed his hands and gloved up, and his station were very clean. In fact that's the first thing I noticed. The whole shop was nice and tidy, adding to my comfort. He careful cleaned my nose inside and out, then prepped and marked my nose with ink to test the spot we thought would look best. Satisfied, it was time to lie down and get pierced! While a friend who insisted they come with me held my hand, Scott kept a steady stream of conversation going to keep me relaxed. The stud was shaped, the receiving tube inserted in my nose, there was a tiny pinch and Scott said breath in hard. I did. He said now let it out and as I did I felt a strong pressure on my nose and that was that. It was over before I had to even squeeze my friend's hand off. Actually, it didn't even hurt. My eye didn't water or anything. Just that pressure. Scott and my friend were pleased and then I got to look. YAY!!!!! Why didn't I do this sooner? Scott gave me a run down on after care and about getting new jewelry from a store like Walmart versus a piercing place (stick with a professional piercer), when to get my stud adjusted and all that. More delighted squeals from me and then I had to hug Scott I was so happy. Now I'm sitting here, my nose still looking good. The adrenaline is wearing off but I'm good. If I ever want more piercings, and I'm in Las Vegas, I'm going to Scott at Ironhorse. And I'm definitely telling friends.
