Not anymore.
Having had my first interaction with one of the new owners (Dr. Mandel sold this practice a couple of years ago), I am less than impressed. I don't have an issue with this certain doctor as a veterinarian at this time, but as a business owner and person of ethics. During my recent visit, I asked a pretty specific billing question and received an answer that was not all it should be. In fact, it was downright misleading. In a later phone call I placed to clarify the issue, the doctor did not stand by what she told me. She interrupted me, spoke over me and never once even let me finish my point. There was further unprofessional (and even childish) behavior involved, but since part of it is unprovable (but oh so coincidental) I shouldn't spell it out here. In summary, and without even considering the resolution to the matter, this issue was handled very badly. Poor judgment and lack of integrity in business might presage poor judgment and lack of integrity in other aspects of their practice. I'm not taking that risk. I won't be returning.
