  • This is a Sears Home store. I bought a new fridge at this location after visiting a Sears department store, a FutureShop, The Brick, a Bad Boy and a few independent appliance retailers. Sears Home has the biggest selection of name brands for each major appliance category compared to The Brick and Bad Boy. It carries more selections of Kenmore appliance than a regular Sears department store. And most of all, it could ship the fridge I wanted in a week, not in 3 weeks like FutureShop. While the salesman didn't negotiate on price, he gave some perks by giving me double Sears points and not charging me the surcharge for weekend delivery. I cashed in the Sears points for an alarm clock later, so the points worthed something. Unlikely a previous reviewer, my Kenmore fridge has worked just fine for the last 4 years. I can't comment on In-Home Services because I have not had the need to use it. While I will shop around like crazy when I buy another big ticket home item, I probably will visit Sears Home as one of the "shop around" destinations.
