A return with the 2 girls and although a fun day, I'll reiterate the lack of in depth science education here. Each station has a little blurb about the concept it's trying to 'teach' but not enough. My eldest is old enough to explore by herself and she kept coming back to me to join her to explain the concepts more deeply. This time, there weren't even any staff milling about, helping the young learners.
At the end of the day, everyone was invited to a hovercraft experiment but there was no explanation of why the disk worked as a hovercraft, just staff shooting kids into hockey nets. Yes, everyone had fun, but I saw it as another missed opportunity.
I would like to say that the front desk staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful and that the dome movies are awesome. Please bring more science education into Spark.
