Very disappointing experience. I haven't been to a Bill Johnsons in YEARS and we happened to drive by this one and decided to stop in. The parking lot was full so I thought that wad a good sign. I thought wrong. It was a bit dark inside but I figured that was part of the"feel" of the restaurant. Wrong again. I think they keep the lights low so you don't see how filthy the place is. Now I'm not a stuck up yuppie and I love finding those little hole in the wall places that look like crap but you get great food. This wasn't one of those places. I ended up being completely grossed out by my food. My husband order a steak with some sides, I ordered a burger with blue cheese and sweet potato fries and my daughter ordered chicken strips. My husband was not thrilled with the steak but he ate it. I got my burger and it looked like there was melted Swiss cheese on it. I asked if that was blue cheese and the waitress looked at me like I was retarted. Hmm...I'm used to crumbly blue cheese but obviously know it can melt but this looked like it must have been under a heat lamp for a loooong time. Whatever I was hungry. Grabbed my lettuce and tomato and thought WTF?? The tomato was practically mush and the lettuce was wet and limp. So forget those. Bit into the burger. That cheese was NOT blue cheese and the burger was a weird gray color. As I'm chewing the burger I look up as someone is going into the kitchen. FILTHEST kitchen I've ever seen at a restaurant. First and last bite of the burger. Took the chicken strip out of my daughters hand and wouldn't let her eat it. End result, we ALL felt like shit that night and we barely ate anything. I can only imagine how we would have felt if we finished the "food". Not surprised this place is closing soon. Shut the damn doors already!!!!
