| - Anthony saved our engagement!!!!
To make a long story short, I ruined my own engagement. My now fiancé had a plan to propose and it didn't go as he had planned, at all, thanks to me being over eager. So since I knew about the "official proposal", I was present when my soon-to-be step daughter and I arrived to drop of the engagement ring at Anthony's, to be resized. We told the female clerk that we would be back before 5pm to pick up the ring, as the dinner/proposal was to take place that evening at 6:15. We went down to the strip for a day of shopping, thinking we had plenty of time to get back to Anthony's on time. However, we were unaware that they close at 4pm on Saturdays. (The should fix the sign on the door)
We showed up at 4:15. They were closed. Doors locked. No one was there. I was devastated, as tears welled up in my eyes. I had already ruined everything and now my dear fiancé won't even get to place the "official ring" he picked out for the proposal, until Monday, when he is back at work and after all his children have flown home, following the holidays.
Panicked, I messaged the company through Yelp and even sent them a message on FB. I was determined to make this night as perfect as possible, since I had already spoiled is as much as I did.
10 minutes after we got home from the day, and from Anthony's; to get ready for the special dinner, Anthony called my fiancé's phone; apologized and said he could be at his shop at 5:30. I was literally jumping for joy, praising Anthony for saving the day...saving the engagement!
My fiancé and his daughter arrived at the shop at 5:30, showed the receipt, and Anthony gave them the perfectly re-sized ring. We were on time for dinner and of course I accepted the proposal to my love and his 4 amazingly beautiful children. I am beyond happy and beyond blessed and we will CERTAINLY be using Anthony's again in the future!
Thank you thank you thank you!!!
