  • The front desk staff is fantastic! Always friendly and smiling.....Once you are inside the hotel, it is nice and clean for the most part...I've always felt safe once I was inside, as well....I really wanted to give 4-5 stars for the staff...... However, I don't think the owner (this is a franchised hotel) cares about certain things.... The parking is $35 per night....and there is always a line of cars waiting to be parked during peak hours....TTC street car stop is on the corner...don't bother with a rental car if you don't have to. There is a half-way house for recent jail/prison releasees aroudn the corner, and the area around the hotel is a haven for homeless, drunks and beggars. It is not uncommon to be approached for money or cigarettes around the entrance. I asked for security to maintain a presence several times, but they simply don't have the staff or put importance on that security measure.
