What a sad state of affairs to experience at a place I held at such high regard for so many years. I think the concentration of combining two restaurants into one, along with hiring trendy people with fully tattooed arms, men that have ponytails and handlebar mustaches has definitely gone to this pathetic crews head of what service really is. With a total of four tables being served I waited 10 minutes to see by a girl who "was heading outside anyway". To sitting at a table where I have to get my own napkins this was about as pathetic as one could get.
Now on to the food... wanting something light I have always been a fan of brussel sprouts and fried rice. If you cannot execute the food do not serve the damn food! Burnt to a crisp this brussel sprouts were absolutely atrocious. The fried rice was so laden in fat as well as lacking of fundamental seasoning.
I know this restaurant pulled its claim to fame with unique flavor combinations and being on the Food Network. If it keeps on the path it's going it will be back on the Food Network only with Robert Irvine and Restaurant Impossible tried to save this disaster!
