I have come here a few more times to give it a second chance, and after today my family won't be returning to The Good Egg (on Dobson). My egg sandwich was subpar, but my husband's eggs Benedict was inedible. We had told the manager about his eggs, and the manager did not empathize. We had to basically ask him for new eggs (awkward!), and when my husband finally got his new eggs Benedict they were even worse--hurried, not poached, and oily beyond belief. Truly inedible. But we didn't want to be "those guys," so we just wanted to quietly leave and pay our bill. The manager stopped us on the way out to ask why my husband didn't eat his eggs, and we told him they were awful. He was polite enough to remove them from our bill, which is why I'm giving 2 stars rating (rather than 1 star).
For a place called "the good egg," y'all need to learn how to poach a flippin egg!!!!! Basics of cooking. Unbelievable.
