  • Really wanted some coffee in a cold rainy day, so I walked into this new coffee/ice cream shop. Their ice creams caught my attention! Got the "rocky road rage". Burnt marshmallow and chocolate twist covered with marshmallow, chocolate and nuts. It looks like I dropped the ice cream at a campsite haha. The outside layer taste pretty good, the ice cream itself is mediocre. All I could taste was just the sweetness, couldn't tell it was burnt marshmallow, the chocolate part just taste like ordinary chocolate flavor. The cone is normal ice cream truck cone. Saw someone's "presidential sweet", looked amazing, that would be the next one I wanna try from sweet Jesus. This shop is tiny and hipster looking, no seating other than a bench, it is a grab and go kinda place. Their latte looked amazing. I would love to come back for some coffee and churros. But for the ice creams, unless if I am in the area, it is not worth going out of my way to get it. Adding toppings onto soft serve ice cream is nothing new after all. I have to say, it is just a hype. The ice creams all come with a little cone/ice cream holder, like a plastic cup/sleeve. It is to prevent melted ice cream dripping down your hands. It is very thoughtful, but the cone doesn't sit tight in the cup, so I am constantly worrying that the ice cream would tip over.
