| - I'm giving this place two stars because I had a really miserable experience and while I'm not opposed to ever getting a Nissan, the chances of me going back to this specific dealership are slim.
I had a Nissan and my lease was going to be up over the next few months so we decided to go in and see if they could assist since my credit isn't the greatest but I was really interested in another lease and I have paid my lease perfectly so I thought they might be willing to help. My husbands credit is fantastic but he wants to refinance his car soon so we thought I would try alone and if it didn't work out he would cosign.
We were helped by an associate, I believe his name is Javier. He showed me some cars and that was great. When we went inside we told him how we wanted to apply and I filled out the paperwork. He comes back and tells me he needs my key for the trade in, and also that I went over the miles on my lease (which I hadn't realized) and then he disappeared. Never did he fill me in on what was happening. When he finally came back, he told me he had a great deal for us, and needless to say the monthly payment was exorbitant. I asked if we could now try to cosign with my husband and see what that gives us and he said, "no that's not going to work." I insisted and again, he shut me down and wouldn't do it. He pressured me to sign this ridiculous loan and he was getting visibly more and more mad as we explained Toyota was having a sale and we would really like to go see the Camry because the car had more features at a lower price and if that didn't work out we would come back and just finance the car I had been leasing and call it a day. He said we needed to hurry up because he was leaving for the day.
He said that the Toyota dealership was also autonation and there was no way they would approve me and that they would only approve my husband but we wouldn't be able to get a lease it would be finance only. I told him we would still like to go, and he ended up just getting mad and leaving us and he still had my car key! I went to get my key from him and he said, "oh, you want your key??" With an attitude. I told him we would be back if Toyota didn't workout but I felt bad that he was leaving for the day and didn't want to waste his time and he said "what do you mean I'm leaving for the day?" When he realized I had caught him lying he said, "oh well I can wait for you."
We went to Toyota and the salesman from Nissan had called the salesman at Toyota and told him to help us. Now we're thinking the Toyota salesman is going to do some shady stuff or lie to us so that our only option would be to go back to Nissan. This didn't end up happening but it was very strange, Toyota was able to set me up with the perfect lease and loan for what I wanted in under two hours. The salesman from Nissan texted me and asked how it was going I told him we were all set and he had the audacity to ask me how much we got our lease for at Toyota.
So steer clear of this guy! I'm sure they have other associates that are fine to work with but I won't be back any time soon, especially after my pleasant experience at Toyota.
