This is the feminist/LGBT bookstore of Madison. The book selection I'm sure is great, but the thing that made me happiest is the fact that they had public restrooms. The walls were covered with articles about the status of gay rights around the country. I actually read the entire article located near the toilet paper roll because it highlighted three cities: Madison, Washington DC (where I was coming from), and Richmond, VA (the home city of my traveling companion). It seemed so appropriate! Although I'm sure everyone thought I was having some serious issues since I spent so much time in there.. Oh, well! The education was worth it!
