The best part of shopping at Metro is: keep walking to Loblaws at Maple Leaf Gardens.
Pro's
-Great location below College Park and easy access to the Subway
-Open 24 Hours, if you live in College Park this is a great convenience store
Con's
-Always seems to need a good cleaning. I don't get the impression that this store is cleaned very often or that the display fridges and freezers are cleaned often.
-Very very tight aisles. This store is small, but the aisles are about one cart wide. I left my cart with groceries after getting frustrated and walked to Loblaws.
-Selection is nothing impressive. If it was 1985 this place would be impressive, the store looks old and tired, the staff uniforms look dated and no attempt was made to make the food look impressive. Metro is competition for Rabba, no where near a true grocery culinary experience.
-They have the world's worst cashiers, most are miserable. It seems like the management is telling them they need to smile and the smile is killing them. Maybe they realize they work at such a horrible place.
