| - This is one of those places where "you don't go to Insomnia Cookies, you end up there". Yes, their cookies are good. I had the standard cookies (as opposed to the deluxe), and they were baked using a slightly "seared" style, i.e the outside of the cookie is closer to soft than brittle, but this contrasts the inside which is really soft, or basically semi-raw cookie dough. But if it's not too late in the night, I would rather get my cookies from the nearby Potbelly any day. Even if the Insomnia cookies were the size of the Potbelly cookies and even if the Insomnia cookies weren't 50% more expensive, I would still choose the Potbelly cookies. Compared to other nearby places, and keeping price in mind again, I rate the Insomnia cookies a little ahead of Subway, and a lot ahead of Jimmy Johns. Up to this point I'm thinking a 3 or 4 star rating for Insomnia, but went with 3 stars after having to wait a long time in a not-so-long line. The workers were all young, yet moved around as if they were double their actual age.
