Setting: 11:30 on a Saturday night. SW Vegas. Rumbly tummies. Not too busy sushi spot.
On a budget so I opt for a teriyaki beef bowl instead of sushi.
On the go so I grab the menu and let them know it will be take out.
After approximately 1 minute and 42 seconds of looking of the menu I am ready to order. I am very decisive, a trait I value in myself. I look around for the waiter who, just a minute prior, had served my friend and me some water.
5 minutes go by.
Then 10.
15.
Hello?
My friend goes in search of a waiter. He says he'll be over in a moment.
Okay. He finally comes over and takes my order.
It's seriously another 15 or 20 minutes for some beef teryaki to be done AND it wasn't even that good. The meat was tough and not very flavorful. I dunno if it was on purpose or not, but whoever brought us our food didn't bring the check with it. Perhaps it was a mistake on their part or perhaps they brought it over as a silent apology for the terrible service. We just walked out before they could say anything. Does that make me a terrible person? It was 45 minutes for a to go order! I wish i was decisive about leaving and going somewhere else. I know I will never decide to go there again.
