  • GREAT TIKI DIVE BAR. James the bartender is an old school Rockabilly Punk Rocker with some great stories and connections to my hometown, Detroit. This is my kind of place. If you reviewed it and gave it one star, you didn't get it and probably never will. Good bartenders don't jump and cater to your every whim. If you want that go to f#cking Applebee's. I go to a bar for atmosphere and good stories from a good bartender and this place has it in spades. Also, you can judge a truly good bar by it's regulars. Cindy carries a freakin can of soup and she'll knock your ass out with it if you mess with her! But if you do, chances are I'd take care of you before she ever reached into her purse. For 20-somethings it's probably a great "whoot whoot" bar on the weekends, for 30-somethings and up it's a great day drinking bar with plenty of good stories. Like the Liam Gallagher Brothers Grimsby guy, what's up with that ???
