  • I've never left a review for a grocery store before, but this one is necessary. I went to buy some produce for dinner and some pumpkins for my family. The produce manager (I never would have guessed he was the manager- I found out later) was launching the pumpkins into their bins like basketballs. No joke. He rolled one off the shoulder, slam dunked another, just kept on tossing them in like nothing. You could smell that he broke one. Didn't care. I said something to him 4 times. "Did you know they'll bruise or break like that?" Etc. He laughed in my face and just kept on doing it. His only response was, "You should see how they're unloaded off the trucks. This is nothing." I told him that makes a huge concern for how he treats the rest of the produce there. He laughed and kept throwing the pumpkins in like he was trying to break them. I spoke to the manager on the phone because I wanted to be discreet. While she was super sweet and listened to my concerns very well, she seemed so young and inexperienced and didn't exactly know how to ease a person's concerns and didn't have much to say at all. Basically she said she would talk to him and that was that. I don't think I can shop there anymore. He was so disrespectful to me and to the inventory. How does someone like that become a department manager? What a let down.
