I'm all for giving local businesses a try and supporting them as much as I can but I was a bit disapppointed when we vidited this business. To start off, they were not prepared and we saw the employee (who we later found out was the wife of the owner) pull up in front of the cafe as soon as they were scheduled to open. We were waiting nearby as we wanted to grab some drinks and support a new business and there was also a couple waiting outside the doors. The other couple decided not to order and walked out after the doors were open, we should've done the same. Their website and social media pages described the cafe as if it were going to be a uniwue experience and my husband loves his coffee so we gave it a try. The owner's wife was super pleasant and friendly (for which I gave 2 stars). The drinks shw made however, were not so pleasant. She seemed disorganzied and didn't seem bothered about presentation (picture attached). The hot chocolate had whipped cream plopped on and the caramel latte was way too sweet, didn't end up finishing it and tossed it outside. She did mention they're still renovating but in my opinion they should've renovated fully to their satisfaction before opening their doors. Also, people who love their coffee want to know the type of roast, where the beans came from, if it's organic, fair trade, etc. All questions they were unable to answer. For these reasons, we won't be returning anytime soon but may decide to if they step up their game. All the best to them.
