| - Molto bene! Prego! With overflowing gratitude to my co-worker and Yelp Lt. General Supreme Goddess Jaime who HIGHLY encouraged I forgo a boring Subway lunch for something a little more exciting. With only 30 minutes for lunch, a person has to really ponder the worthiness of the extra 3-4 miles each way.
In her most nonchalant way, she mentioned she loved her meatball sub SO MUCH that when she inadvertently dropped a meatball on the floor it was almost good enough to pick up and eat. My kind of foodie!
The General also recommended I call ahead but I opted to use their online ordering service via eat24.com. (Cugino's has their own website, but when you want to pre-order to are redirected to a Cugino/eat24.com website.) The online ordering process was a breeze. I am a web guy and I really appreciate that. The ONLY reason I only rated Cugino's with 4-stars was it was my understanding when I provided my CC to eat24.com I had already pre-paid for my food. So, when I arrived to pick up my food I was surprised when the nice lady asked for my CC. I understand now why they do it that way....If I actually never pick up my food, I could request my CC company nullify the charges.
Major props to Jaime as when I picked up my food at 12:05pm, there were at least 10-12 people in line. So, I was able to smile and breeze right by. The few times I get to feel superior in this world is when you order food correctly and leave the average joe's (hi Terri.....lol) in the dust.
Brought the food back to the office and I was not disappointed. In fact, if I had dropped a meatball on the floor in our workplace kitchen, I WOULD HAVE PICKED IT UP and eaten it. LOL As you can tell my photo, the side salad was pretty huge. A great lunch value for $11.
I would highly recommend this place, I would become Yelp friends with Jaime (cuz, she knows her stuff), and I would order ahead online.
