  • I had three quotes to trim 5 trees in our yard. American Tree Masters was the lowest, but not by much. I wish now I would have went with the slightly higher bid. Dan was able to schedule us within a week of the quote. The crew that came to do the work did lack professionalism. They used no ladders. That means they are jumping on and off the fence and standing on limbs of the trees when it is not necessary. There was not any care in where and how the branches were thrown to the ground either. The only positive was that the crew asked if each tree was acceptable when they finished it and made any changes we desired. We also paid extra to have a tree topped and reduced by a third of its height, but the trimmer on site recommended against that. It did not feel like Dan and his crews were on the same wavelength to say the least. I was SO disappointed in the clean up. They did remove all branches and cleaned off the sidewalks, but they just blew all the debris onto the rocks and left it there. My yard was considerably messier when they left then when they arrived. I do want to state I didn't ask them to clean up further, but I don't feel like I should have to.
