I took my dog in for an annual teeth cleaning, it was the first that he'd ever received. I'd had a previous experience in a different state with my other dog (rest her soul) and a teeth cleaning when they had to pull 13 of them and she ended up losing one of her eyes because the dr hit an optic nerve. $3000 later I ended up with a pirate dog. This was all on my birthday. Happy birthday to me. I got a silicone eye. We called her Lucy the pirate. Needless to say I was gun-shy in the whole teeth cleaning experience when it came to my dog.
Fast forward to yesterday. Bobby was a shelter dog and came from the streets. My dog Bobby has the world's worst breath. This could be an understatement. I'll spare you the details of how bad it smelled. I thought for sure when I pick him up he would come out with no teeth (but hopefully both eyes). To my surprise when I arrived, the staff presented me with before and after pictures and I was absolutely stunned. First I thought that couldn't be my dog. But then I noticed that it really was his mug in that picture. Dr Saponas was amazing along with all the staff who worked tirelessly from sunrise (when I dropped him off) to sunset.
Prices were very reasonable, they took excellent care of Bobby and his breath no longer smells like a 3rd street dumpster. He's so happy and the rest of our family is as well. We don't mind when he pants in closed spaces and can now tolerate long car rides! Will definitely be going back on a regular basis for the necessary dental care!
