In the beginning, we gave Elizabeth a 4 star review. She helped cat sit my two kitties while I was away for Christmas holidays and other vacation times we've been away. Elizabeth is super friendly, has a genuine passion/love for animals and communication with her was great.
However, a recent experience has led me to adjust my review. Just a few months back, Elizabeth and I made an agreement for her to be our 'full time' dog walker (i.e. once a day, Monday to Friday).
Fast forward - it's about 1 week before we agreed for her to start. I reached out to her to confirm the time/day to swap keys, and she tells me she cannot commit to our original agreement anymore because her other clients are taking up most of her time.
While she offered to fill in where she could - this left me in a state of panic to find an alternate dog walker within a week.
At the time of the agreement, Elizabeth must have had capacity, which means she took on new clients without considering other commitments. And I was the one who had to reach out to Elizabeth to find out the unfortunate news. We're just really disappointed at the level of professionalism here.
