I really debated on how many stars to give. If I could I would have given 3.5. I came here for lunch and I was pleased, not blown away but happy. The decor in some aspects is cool but in others it could use some updating. You can tell they have probably made some changes over the years but not all the ones they need to. Our waitress was super sweet and friendly which was also another plus.
They bring bread and oil yo start when you sit down. The bread is actually rolls which I found disappointing, it's served with a slightly spicy oil. We had the goat cheese snd mascarpone dip with marinara and it was delicious. The goat cheese was present but not overwhelming. It comes with toast but I wish it had been served with something more bite size such as crostini etc. I should also mention that we came during lunch time and not dinner so we didn't have the whole menu to pick from. I had the angel hair pasta with tomato basil sauce and it was good, I was happy with it. My husband ordered the penne with vodka sauce and it was also delicious, it had some spice to it as well. I like spice but for some it may have been too much.
I would eat here again it would not go out of my way to do so.
