I had been thinking of putting solar screens on my windows for years, but since it isn't a critical expense I didn't get past the thinking stage. However, the memory of a $600+ electric bill last August and the unfortunate look of my existing blinds prompted me to shop for solar screens. I got a good idea what the cost would be by measuring the windows and pricing it online. before I had an estimate done at the house. I called SW Solar Screens to come out. He gave me a bid that was close to what I expected it to be, I didn't want to mess around with the hassle of more contractors coming out so I took it. They did the install about a week later, I originally told the estimator I wanted the entire south and west side of the house done including the windows on the front door. I counted 17 windows and that matched his estimate. What I didn't know was the arched windows are two windows I counted those two windows as one. The estimator neglected the two windows on the front door, so our window count matched. So after the install I went out to look and was impressed with what I saw except the missing two front door screens. I told the installer I was expecting those two to be done as well. He was very easy going about it and understood the mix up. He told me he will measure the door and have those covered next week and sure enough they were. So for taking care of that so painlessly for me and the quality of the install I am giving them 5 stars. It is over 100 degrees out now and my house is cooler than it would be without the screens. The house looks better. I am a satisfied customer
