If you are driving here, it is easy to miss this place since it is very nondescript amongst all of the other restaurants in the strip mall. The restaurant looks like a hole in the wall from the outside, so I was concerned that I might have come to a bad area. There seemed to be enough other people standing around waiting for taxis that I wasn't too concerned (though I did keep looking around me as I walked to my car to make sure I was safe!)
Inside, the restaurant looks much nicer. There is a glass enclosed wine cellar in the background and photos of celebrities who have eaten there on the wall.
Their menu is huge and I'm sure I didn't order the most adventuresome dishes since I wanted to be able to compare their dishes to ones I am familiar with.
I went with my mom, who is gluten intolerant and also can't tolerate spicy food. The wait staff very courteously took note of her dietary restrictions and actually followed them (she sometimes will order food prepared "mild" from restaurants only to find it intolerably spicy to eat). I was pleasantly surprised about this since some restaurants with foreign (or even domestic, for that matter) cuisine don't understand when you make a request to prepare things gluten free.
We had thai iced teas, green papaya salad, massaman curry, and mango with coconut sticky rice. All of the food was excellent.
So in summary: you might get lost finding the place, but it is a good place to bring friends to with dietary restrictions. I don't think the food we tried was any more amazing than any other good Thai restaurant I've been to, but I would definitely recommend this place if you are looking for a good Thai restaurant with an extensive menu.
